Judy Johnson Speaking at 'Halfway to International Women’s Day'
Judy Johnson, Ph.D., the Vice President of Aspirant, a Pittsburgh-based global management consulting and technology firm, is speaking at a “Halfway to International Women’s Day” event on Friday, September 7 at Alloy 26 in Pittsburgh. The breakfast discussion and networking opportunity, which is from 8-10 a.m., promises "to reconnect and re-band to examine the progress we’ve made in our endeavors to push for gender parity and champion all women around us."
“I am honored to join this group of phenomenal women for an inspirational event,” said Judy Johnson. “I’ll be sharing insight into the workforce trends that are on the horizon, discussing how we can lean into the movement toward whole-person employment, and how we can be our authentic selves while still adapting to the workplace we are living in. Employees expect flexibility, empathy, emotional intelligence, and a stimulating work environment and we each can play a role in helping that become a reality.”
At Aspirant, Johnson partners with executives and leadership teams to engage and inspire employees in a way that delivers sustainable strategic results. She brings deep expertise and creative ideas to solve organizational effectiveness issues and closely collaborates in a way that builds internal capabilities. During her career, she has spent over 25 years consulting in a variety of industries, bringing her expertise in behavior change to a wide range of organizational issues including strategic execution, leadership, change management, culture, and engagement.
Authenticity and authentic self is another important issue for Judy. “It’s important to raise issues that are both authentic and respectful of company norms,” said Johnson. “Workplace authenticity is about much more than just ‘be yourself.’ Part of it is about consistent fundamental character and comfort and honesty about your past.”
