Smart Business magazine’s award recognizes executives at companies in the Greater Pittsburgh region for their ability to “effectively build and lead successful organizations”
Pittsburgh, PA, October 1, 2019 – Aspirant and its president, Mike McClaine, were announced as one of the Smart 50 by Smart Business magazine for 2019, which recognizes the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the region for their ability to “effectively build and lead successful organizations.” Aspirant is a Pittsburgh-based global management consulting and technology firm.
“I feel that Mike’s honor as a member of Pittsburgh Smart 50 awards stems from Aspirant’s innovative consulting model, including our leading-edge technology, which I’ve gotten to witness the effectiveness of firsthand,” said Aspirant Vice President and Organizational Effectiveness Director Judy Johnson. “Specifically, the utilization of our AI-based insights tool Digital Discovery™ is helping clients gather more in-depth insights in less time to drive sustainable results.”
On November 20, 2019, the winners will of Smart 50 be honored and three organizations will receive specialty awards for their achievements in three category areas: innovation, impact, and sustainability. These awards will be determined through the Smart 50 Awards “Judging Day” on October 17, where the winners present to a judging panel about their leadership as it relates to the organization in the three categories. The Pittsburgh Smart 50 Awards are occurring at The Fairmont Pittsburgh from 5-8:30 p.m.
“One aspect I’ve truly responded to while working with Mike over the last two years has been his unique integration of teams with an understanding of diverse topics such as consumer marketing and brand strategy, organizational effectiveness, and the latest technology trends,” said Michele Petruccelli, Director of Aspirant’s Marketing and Innovation practice. “This integration, combined with Aspirant’s holistic view of strategy, is making the company unique in our marketplace.”
This is the second time Aspirant and McClaine have been honored among the Smart 50, in addition to the company being honored by the Pittsburgh Business Times as a Corporate Citizenship Award Winner as well as the Pittsburgh Technology Council as one of its Tech 50 nominees.
